Default Koni question

I did a search with no real answer.

This will sound kinda dumb. But how do you know when they are full loose in the rear, will it stop turning,i took 2 turns off where they were and don't know if that's complete loose or what.I want start from full loose.

Same for the front's also.

Thanks.
