Default Looking into a K-Member install!

Before i go and buy a UMI K-member i would like to know whats involved in the install, and how difficult it is. I would like to lose some weight in the front end, and along with the new K-member i will be putting in new upper, and lower arms along with QA1 shocks.
So whats involved in the K-member install, whats the time, and difficulty?

Thank You

Its about 10 minutes short of pulling the engine. Its how you pull the engine on these cars, except you keep the motor jacked up and lower the k-frame by itself.

I've done it. It was fun

It's not that bad after you've done it a couple of times. It is very time consuming though the first time around. You'll have to unbolt quite a few things from the K-member (shocks, sway bar, steering linkage, motor mounts, etc.) and to get to the motor mounts you'll have to drop the starter, alternator, and compressor.

Hello,

If you would like, please call and in and speak with Jerry in technical support. He will be glad to discuss what is involved over the phone.

Thank you!

I didn't have to drop any of the accessories, but I changed the motor mounts over to solids.
