Default Need traction

Mods in sig.....will a torque arm help with traction? Running 12.3 @ 122 leaving line at 1k and bogging in 1st (aluminum flywheel).. If I try and launch I just end up spinning thru 1st and 2nd......I am still running the 10 bolt because it hasn't broken yet.....I was even doing some 60mph launches on the highway the other day.......dropping that sucker in 3rd and I was out .....I have Bfgoodrich 315/35/17 tires....will a torque arm help any? Or do I just need to wait and get a rear with slicks

I also have 4.11 gears

What is your 60 foot times?

If you have boost of course your going to spin if your not on slicks I would imagine with 4.11's.

If you want good times need 12 bolt and slicks and about a 4K launc or so.

I've always thought the rule of thumb was get a steel flywheel for drag racing and aluminum one for road racing. The aluminum flywheel gives you less margin for error on launching. It's a very fine line between bogging and baking your tires up

I've got an aluminum flywheel and i feel your pain... I've got full suspension done in that area and I still either bog or spin em off the line... there's nothing really that you can do unless you wanna do a flywheel swap...
