Ever hear of old school dragsters going 11.5 @ 102 or things like that? Their ET is ALL in the launch.
There are 2 ways to eliminate the torque arm: (1) Turning the lower control arms into makeshift ladder bars (which I personally have little confidence in, others have more though)
And (2) back-halfing the car: a good bit of money and work and time and once you start to do this, there's no turning back
Thats exactly what a "back-halved" car is, you have cut out the rear half of the car to attach the 4link.
cars are going 7's with the mighty Tq Arm.
You are looking at close to 8k for the conversion if you pay to have it done.
$2300- 9" or 12 bolt
$2200- Materials
$4500- Labor to have it done.
It is a very labor intensive conversion.
