Lowering Spindles
It would seem to me like they might be better suited for lowering the CG in that they keep the original geometry of the front suspension in place. While they would move the point at which the lateral force was applied to the suspension system during cornering, it would seem to me that the rest of the suspension would transfer that force to the body in the way the original designers intended.
Maybe I’m thinking about it too much?????
Any thoughts?
Jeff
I think you are right about the cost and still needing springs.
However, is it that "these cars don't need to be dropped more than an inch or an inch and a half" or is it that anything more and you are scraping on the ground????
It is my contension that even if you lower the Fbody 2 inches the Corvette still has a lower center of gravity. Maybe it is a perception thing, but it seems like the reason we don't want to go lower is because we will bottom out (i.e.. they are not made for it) or the geometry will be so bad that you don't want to go there?????
Not sure about any of that, still asking for input here,
Jeff
