Ive heard most people on here say no, but I went ahead and got one. I noticed alittle bit of a difference, but not much. I noticed much more of a difference when I replaced both the front and rear sway bars (maybe a year or so later)...so depending on your budget, my vote would be to start with sway bars, then you can add a strut tower if you want. I like the look of having one too.

shocks, springs, & sway bars are going to be the major players in reducing body roll....and a PHR will help with side-to-side deflection of the rear end when carving the corners

My dad got one for his 02 SS. It ended up completely eliminated the 'tracking' problem he was having with his wide factory tires.

I got mine just for the hell of it and noticed a very small difference. Was it worth the money? I think so, mainly because it looks cool.

I got stiffer springs and lowered mine...I know you said you didnt want to lower it. Changing the springs or shocks will drastically change the ride quality also...so if its a D/D, might think about that. I don't mind the harder ride, but other ppl have complained...that is until you WOT, then they are ok with it.

Try some bigger sway bars, Strano makes a set that's hollow and bigger than the stock bars, that'll cut down some of the body roll, Koni shocks, or Bilstein revalves will be a nice upgrade from the stock DeCarbons, as for springs, 1LE springs are supposed to be stiffer that the stock SS springs, might want to look into them if you don't want it lowered
STB I put one one, haven't really noticed it makes a difference, but I changed the whole suspension, so it may help in a completely stock car

The only two things that effect the AMOUNT of roll are the springs and the swaybars. The shocks effect roll, but they don't change the amount of it, they change the SPEED of it (how quickly it's generated).

Shock Tower Braces do nothing, at all, for the amount or speed of you body roll. Some report the car feels much better with them, some report no change. Frankly it depends on the car, some have had much harder lives than others. We sell them, they're on my website. But I don't personally use one on my car. I will say that if you opt for one, make sure you get one that's actually not flexible. Hotchkis STB's have quite a lot of flex. This is why I sell the UMI one-piece units for the greatest rigidity.

If you want less body roll in the front get a bigger front sway bar. If you want all around better handling (and more steering/chassis feel) get a set of good shocks aimed at handling i.e. Konis.
