Default Upper Ball joint

The boot on my upper ball joint is damn near ripped in half. (no idea how this happened only 27,000 miles and no suspension work has been done so it didn't get ripped by working on it?)

Anyway is the Autozone, Advance Auto ball joints worth buying or should I buy GM ones? I know alternaters aren't worth a crap at the discount store so thought I would check and see if the ball joint are decent.

Thanks

I'm sure that the chain store brands are at least close in quality to the Delcos. But if you pretty much never want to replace them again (and also be able to grease them), get the Moog Problem Solvers (NAPA, as well as others, can get them).
