Default Hopefully Obvious...

Okay, before I even ask this question, I know it's probably super basic/obvious and while I would love to check it myself to make sure right now, the car's parked for winter and a pretty good distance from where I live, so I can't.

But:

I've got an LT1 Trans Am. Some people here on TECH have been saying that it -does- have a brake proportioning valve, and others say it -does not-.

Now, I was like 99.99999% sure mine -did- have one, but after hearing so many people say otherwise... well, I'm confused. I know I sound like a noob, but I'd rather be safe than sorry, especially since I pulled my ABS fuse last year.

So, from someone who actually knows for sure... does my car have a proportioning valve? Thanks!

EDIT: Come to think of it, this might have been the wrong section to post in, but I was unsure of where to go about posting this. I'm sorry if this thread shouldn't be here.

LT1's do, LS1's do not (it's got EBD, basically computer/ABS controlled).

Yeah, cool. I figured, but I had to make sure. Thanks a lot.

lol, I'm still probably going to check it the next time I'm out there, but at least now I'm not concerned anymore.

I would trust what that Sam Strano guy says. He kinda knows stuff.
