I used the LG brackets, stock c5 rotors, stock f-body calipers and hawk hps pads. I swapped the fluid to a higher boiling point fluid, I forget which one, but it was recomended on here.
Moral of the story is I am very happy. I actually feel the rear start to get light because it brakes that hard. Granted I don't race it, but it's nice knowing I had better brakes to go along with more horsepower.

Alchemist:
I did the same upgrade - LG brackets, C5 rotors, f-body calipers, f-body Hawk street pads, SS lines, conventiional brake fluid, however.
I followed the break-in procedures discussed on the pad box. Since each time I drive the car the brakes seem to get stronger, I assume they are best after several heat cycles.
Anyway, this is a good mod and can be had for 500 - 700 clams.

Oh yeh, I forgot one important issue.
I ran out of red thread lockerr so I did not use any when I did the brake swap. This was not good idea as a few weeks later, two bolts cam loose and one got lost.
I replaced the missing bolt this weekend and re-did all the bolts using red thread-locker this weekend. I hope they all stay put this time.
