Default Wha do I need?

I want to launch hard off the line with my 2000 T/A. What do I need to keep my car hooking straight. I have H/C putting out 420h.p. 360t.q..Will I blow out the stock rear if I have too much traction????

Yes. It might happen the first time, or it might happen the 100th time, but, eventually, that rearend will die, especially if you run drag radials. It's up to you whether you want to start saving now for a 12-bolt/9-inch/S60, or if you want to wait until the rearend dies. Some people keep buying 10-bolts on the cheap and blowing them up, and I can understand why. If a new 12-bolt is $3000 and a used 10-bolt is $300, that's a pretty big savings. It boils down to whether you want to keep swapping rearends.

I got a 12-bolt last year. I still haven't done much to make more power, but it's nice to know the rearend I already have will take the abuse.
