Re: SFC Install price? The reason I asked is I would go with the bolt-on instead, you can install them yourself, plus you won't need to get them painted because there already powder coated.

Re: SFC Install price? I'm not paying $100 for powdercoating. I'll pay $10 for some POR-15. And I'd rather have them welded. If installation cost is a lot, I'm just going to bolt them in. It shouldn't be too hard to fabricate those little metal pieces that come with the bolt-ons.

I'm not paying $100 for powdercoating. I'll pay $10 for some POR-15. And I'd rather have them welded. If installation cost is a lot, I'm just going to bolt them in. It shouldn't be too hard to fabricate those little metal pieces that come with the bolt-ons.
Those little metal pieces 1/2 x 1 steel drilled and tapped 1/2-13. Oh and use Grade 8 bolts.
Keep track of your time and materials and you will find that the $100 is not just for the powder coating.
