What springs
I have an 2001 Trans am. I want to lower the front because i really dont like how high it sits. i am lookin at the BMR or Eibach pro kit and i dont want it to ride to ruff. should i get new shocks with them? does anyone lower just the front and leave the back? if so could i see some pics. Thanks

ive been doing a lot of research on here myself and ive heard nothing but good things about strano springs and koni shocks from stranoparts.com, hes a sponsor on here. its just that konis are kind of pricey. but well worth it. thats the setup i will eventually be going with. good luck man.

And any lowering spring + stock shocks is going to be a worse ride than stock.

Heres a pic of my car lowered with koni shocks and stock springs with the spring isolator still in place over the rear springs.
Thats the route i would go if you want to lower just the front. Don't get springs without the right supporting shocks.

We have many satisfied customers running our spring and we do recommend when changing out the spring to upgrade the shocks as well for the best ride and performance. Our springs provide about a 1.25 inch drop front rear and are proudly made in the USA . The part # for the spring package is SP001 and retails for $229.95. They can be found here http://www.bmrfabrication.com/F-bodySuspension.htm

I have the BMR springs with new Bilsteins and haven't had any problems. I don't have any pics after the springs but, my car rides about the same as it did stock, and it has just the right amount of rake to it. Lowered it right about 1" to 1.25". The strano set up is a nice choice also if you have a bit more dough.
