Default alignment b4 or does not matter

quick question:

does one need alignment after shock and/or spring install on the front of the car?

I need alignment now, its slightly bad but wondering if I should wait.

But they always find something out of spec... and while your up there. Places like sears and prob NTB have a six month warranty on the alignment. So you could get it done, swap your springs and go back when your done. Im never going back to sears. Ive taken like 10 cars there and the steering wheel always comes back a lil crooked.

Edit: Oh and like he said below if your gonna be swapping springs anytime soon save yourself the hassle of going twice. Just wait.

I would wait if you are doing the spring swap anytime soon. You can have your wheels aligned today and they'll be perfect. But if you are going to swap in springs tomorrow, the alignment will be off. Better off to wait.
