1le calipers is there any difference between the stock ls1 calipers and the 1le? i am wanting to upgrade my calipers but dont know which way to go without spending too much money any suggestions is appreciated...

Re: 1le calipers I think they use the same calipers, at least for the 98 up cars. I had a 98 1LE and now have a 2000 Z28. The brakes look exactly the same, 13 inch on front and whatever is in the rear, I think 11". Calipers looked the same and are the same colors. You could get a set up from Bear, Wilwood, or other companies that would work better than stock but are very expensive.

Re: 1le calipers They went to a bigger brake system on the 98 up cars, at least in the 1LE system. I had a 98 and read up on it a lot and I remember the 98's were supposed to have bigger rotors all around for the 1LE. Maybe the info I found was wrong but that's what I read on a few different places.
