Re: 1le calipers
I think they use the same calipers, at least for the 98 up cars. I had a 98 1LE and now have a 2000 Z28. The brakes look exactly the same, 13 inch on front and whatever is in the rear, I think 11". Calipers looked the same and are the same colors. You could get a set up from Bear, Wilwood, or other companies that would work better than stock but are very expensive.

All 1LE cars from '93 up use the same calipers as on the other cars. I have a '94 and a '99 and they are the same as what you would find on a LT1 and LS1 car respectively

Re: 1le calipers
They went to a bigger brake system on the 98 up cars, at least in the 1LE system. I had a 98 and read up on it a lot and I remember the 98's were supposed to have bigger rotors all around for the 1LE. Maybe the info I found was wrong but that's what I read on a few different places.

Nope same as all the other cars.

Only 1LEs to ever get different brakes were the 3rd gen cars.
