just bought this 2001 ls1 with an after market torque arm that runs from the rear to a brace , not the trans , the problem is while loading the car on a trailer i bent the metal the brace mounts to throwing my pinion angle out which causes a violent shutter when taking off under light load , any advice , am i wrong , right but the biggest is i need a good torque arm that will mount back to the trans or another location , i am running a 200 shot of nos so i need a stong torque arm any advic , i mean any would be great thanks friends

try bmr, edelbrock, or any other adjustable torque arm. the bracket you are talking about bolts to the SIDE of the transmission, right?
