Default rotors

which ones are the best bang for the buck?
i have seen the slotted, drilled, slotted and drilled, zinc plated, etc.etc. i just want to know who is running what kind...my car is a daily driver w/ some track time...and any problems people have had w/ their rotors..chipping, flaking, cracking etc.
thanks
Gregg

I run slotted and drilled on mine, the stock rotors took a dump when the car had 20k mls on it, I've had these for over a year, I'm pretty happy with them considering they were like $130 for the fronts,I hope this helps

what ever ones you think look the best.
There are no performance advantages to running drilled or slotted rotors except for a slight loss in rotational mass.
drilled provide more nucleation sites for cracks to start forming, but under street conditions you will most likely never encounter it.
your best bet for performance is solid rotors (more mass to disperse the heat)

I ran a set of drilled's with zinc coating and they just rusted slower than stockers... that’s all.

I got mine from ws6store.com. 170 for all 4 rotors is an awesome deal. I got the slotted ones(same price) and have no issues yet. Been over a year now.

$20 raybestos ones from rock auto. They have held up to HPDE track days without warping/cracking.

i have had my Baer rotors for 2 years now, i DD my car and am a "spirited" driver. I don't have any issues. I hear the Brembo blanks are good if you can find them. If mine ever warp or crack I'll probably get the Brembo's

I've recently noticed some threads popping up about the LS1 Brembo blanks having quality issues.

I have drilled and slotted rotors from the GM performance catolog. I have had them for about 2 yrs now and never had a issue from them. No warpping or chipping, and GM has a little warranty that goes with thewm against defects and such. I had noticed a lot better pedal response from the upgrade. Look on GM peformance website for pricing.
