Default adjusting konis on the car

What does everyone use to adjust the single adjustable front Konis. I just installed them and with them on the car it seems pretty hard. I tried to use an awl, an allen key (all I had with me at the time) and it was damn near impossible to adjust.

The other thing you can do is jack up the A-arm when trying to gain access with your adjustment tool. I found this to be very helpful when you find that some of your coil springs (angle) get in the way of your adjustment movement.
