Default Wtf??

Hi ,

I replaced the lower control arm on the front driver side just over a year ago, with a OEM GM replacement (bad ball joint)

Just had a service done and the ball joint is bad again!!??
Its just a weekend car and seen no sideways action, so what's causing this?
Any surgestions on what I should replace it with this time around?

Is your car lowered(improper geometry)?
You can just buy the lower ball joint and press it in. Much cheaper now that you have your old one to press it on.

Hi,

Thanks for your replys.

The car is not lowered.
I have never had an alignment, I guess you mean wheels, the lca was a b!%&! to fit, nothing lined up well, BFH and wrecking bar was used to fit it. (Had a minor prang in the past).
We also noticed the wheels weren't centered in the wheel arch.
I guess I need an alignment??

Good to know I can replace just the joint, as shipping heavy parts to the UK can be pricey.
