I have had my UMI parts (LCA w bracket, PHR, SFC, TA w/DS loop) for few weeks and love them. My ONLY complaint is that they dont have there logo on there parts besides the TA. I know its on the bottom of the car and all but i still would like to have them. hahaha

Its Jerry's car... he is technical support. That rear is no longer in the car... but it is probably from jacking it up and down so many times.

Shoot me a e-mail in 2 weeks and I will get you some stickers out!

Apparently I ruffled a few feathers when I made a statement back on page 1 regarding an issue of metal thickness.

For the record--It was intimated that the nose of the UMI TA is made of sheet metal. It is in fact 1/8" (.125") steel plate that is cut and formed for the nose. The GM nose (according to the measurement I just took from two different GM TA's) is .110".

Not a lot of difference to be sure... but then again I don't see the noses of TA's failing, GM or otherwise. And I don't personally consider 1/8" steel to be on the same plane as what most of consider sheet metal. Technically speaking, anything up to 1/4" thickness can be considered to be sheet metal. However, there is a big difference between sheet metal that you'd see in duct work and 1/8" thick steel.

I've got a lot of UMI suspension and brake parts on my car and they've been on there for years and I've had zero issues and zero failures and I do drag race my car on occasion. The one thing I'd like to add is that every part I've ordered from UMI has been extremely easy to install. Even the C5 brake kit which required some cutting went it without a hitch. The instructions are very clear and the parts are very well made.

Note - I'm not knocking BMR parts here.
