FRONT END POPS AND CRACKS i have a bmr tubular cross member and upper/lower control arms. 1" hotchkis springs and factory struts. while i am giving the car all it wants on the road or auto cross it does NOT make a sound. but just cruising down the road at 60 or even in a parking lot at 3 mph it snaps, cracks, and pops. it only does it while going straight and not at all in corners.
-- i have looked all over the front end, and see no loose bolts or broken parts. my last guess would be a bad strut? or has any one had a problem with 1" hotchkis springs? or should i rename my car from antivnm to KELLOGS(snap, crackle, pop)

Re: FRONT END POPS AND CRACKS I would replace the struts. My stock one's made funny noices all the time. Once I lowered my car and changed the struts and shocks the sound went away. I dont see how the springs would make any noice, but i could be wrong.
