Thumbs up New TA From UMI

I went from a spohn tunnel mount to a UMI full length to gain some ground clerence for the strano springs I'll be ordering in a month or so. Fit was perfect and Rayn is a top notch guy to deal with even though he didn't get the stickers yet haha. The only complaint that I have is all of the extra tranny movement since the arm is back on the tranny again, but I'll fix that soon with a new tranny crossmember. Lots less noise with the full arm too, more than happy with my choice.

Just wanted to give Ryan some props since you usually only hear the bad things.

I'll have some pics tomorrow hopefully looks great under my car

I didn't mind it when my car was an auto, but ever since I put the M6 in it was just clunky snd if your rear makes any noise it amplifies it alot and I scraped it hard a couple times so I went back to a long arm. Now the only complaint I have is the shifter rasing an inch or so after every hard shift. I don't see the rubber mount lasting very long

The noisy TA on a M6 might be from not setting the angle right. I have one and haven't noticed any difference in noise. Although it does scrap the ground sometimes. I have learned to never drive in ruts in the road, it's just not a good deal for low vehicles.

We have very minimal complaints on our tunnel mounted set-up, when properly installed and set-up correctly they are virtually unnoticeable.. I daily drive with one 100 miles a day and don't even notice it is there.

^^ Wow props to you guys, I had my angle at 0* -1, -2, -3 and a whole bunch more different ones that were way off and it never made a difference. I even had some 1/8" rubber where it mounts up to dampen the noise and that didn't help either. But the biggest reason is that I'm lowering my car and needed the ground clerence and thats the same reason for redoing my exhaust. now I just need to save some money for a relocated tranny crossmember to stop the shifter from coming up so far, but that will be a little while

Thanks again Ryan do you have any idea on the stickers? How about a big one for the windshield? I'd rock that out for you

With the TA relocation and poly motor mounts the shifter will not move at all.

Yeah I know, I already have poly motor mounts and I need to put my poly tranny mount back in. The tranny didn't move at all with the tunnel mount, and I expected some movement, but wow I was honestly surprised at how much the arm forces the tranny up. But yes I do need the TA relocator, but I need a few things more that that right now. Probably this winter it will get changed though.
