Brake pad question
Ok its NOT an fbody but i figured id try this site since i know a lot of you guys are really good with cars. Recently someone i know had a friend put new front brake pads on her 98 buick century. After the install while accelerating from a light or turning the car right there is a squeling noise coming from the driver side brake. Im not exactly sure why the brake pad would make noise while turning the car right though. I was told maybe the rotor needs to be replaced but she doesnt want to spend extra money if she doesnt have to. Any ideas? Should i put the anti-squeal on? As far as i can tell it doesnt squeal while braking just while accerating low speeds or while turning the car RIGHT.

wheel bearing maybe.
jack it up, check the wheel for play, if it wobbles top to bottom, or grinds at all when you rotate it, it's the wheel bearings.
the anti-squeal is definitely a great idea... and new rotors never hurt.
try the anti-squeal, check for play.
if there's no play and the anti-squeal doesn't fix it, you may have a caliper sticking, misaligned, or loose, that can often cause just the very edge of a brake pad to slide along the rotor and squeal.
