Horrible squeaking problem.
Present: Squeaking horrible while driving, gets even louder when braking. Not to be confused with squealing, it's many many chirps, over and over again. Driving me insane.
Question: Would this lead you to believe I have a bent axle/axles? Would a worn out wheel bearing do this? Should I just buy a used 10bolt from someone and be done with it? If I did that, would I need to buy new calipers/rotors/pads just incase? I'm poor, so please lend me your thoughts. I "hear" the squeaks when I'm driving other vehicles...they're invading my dreams.
Thanks for you time, any help is appreciated.
The only way I know to check for it is;
Remove the rotor & check the runout of the axle flange w/a dial indicator.
.006 & up you got problems.
