Default Removing Rear Isolator Question

I just installed a set of DMS rear lowering springs and a set of koni rear shocks. (Just finished tonight and the fronts will go on tomorrow). Now i measured before and after and the rear only dropped 1/2'' on both sides. I had the heater hose mod done before, but im wondering if the springs are not aligned right. Would this cause a drop of only 1/2'' when its supposed to 1.3-1.5''. Or do I just have to wait for the springs to settle.

I aligned the top coil of the springs on the inner side of the car. Anyone know which way it should face??

Is the lower end (pigtail)of the rear springs pointing forward?
Did you do the "hose mod" with the DMS springs?
In volume 1 of 3 on page 3-57 (rear suspension) In my GM service manual it clearly states; Important: "The lower end of the rear spring should be facing forward."

DMS Springs lower quite a bit (I had them on my previous ride) I would not run them without isolators. Like it was said before they will settle after a few days. This is what my car looked like and I had no rear seats or belt assemblies, no jack or spare tire. So I was about 48 pounds lighter in the back.

I'll check to see if they are facing forward.

Blubird- A lot of the pics i looked at with the isolators removed looked like yours. And the ones i found with the isolators still installed looked higher in the rear. Did you keep yours in??

Yes I kept mine. That is why I was warning against it. The car rode great but I had a Spohn relocated torque arm and the tunnel brace that the arm bolted to scraped all the time.

ok my random tech torque arm is still trans mounted and i did remove the rear isolators.

Now i did the fronts and added a set of used koni adjustable shocks. The front sits great now and since the springs are new if they settled just a little bit they would perfect for me. The rears are still high. Could this be because the shocks in the rear are new(also koni adjustables).

Measurements are:

Before
LF= 27 3/4''
RF= 27 5/8''

LR= 28 11/16''
RR= 28 7/16''

After
LF= 26 9/16''
RF= 26 3/16

LR= 28 3/8''
RR= 28''

So i got 5/16'' on driver side and 7/16'' on passenger. What gives???
