Help With Suspension Install... I AM IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING A BMR TRAK PACK...HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED A SET OF BURKHART LCA's AND PANHARD BAR...GOT THE REAREND READY TO CENTER IT UP UNDER THE CAR, ALREADY HAVE THE LCA's SET TO LENGTH THE STOCKERS CAME OUT AT IT WAS LIKE 19 AND 3/8's. MY QUESTION IS ABOUT HOW FAR UP FROM THE CONTROL ARM BOLT ON THE CHASSIS HAS ANYONE WELDED IN THE CROSSMEMBER IN THIS KIT..IT ONLY TALKS ABOUT MAKING SURE IT IS SQUARE IN THE INSTRUCTION AND NEVER REALLY SAYS HOW FAR AWAY FROM THEM TO MOUNT IT...THIS CAR WAS APART AND A ROLLER WHEN I GOT IT HOME SO I DONT REALLY KNOW WHERE THE REAREND IS SUPPOSE TO BE...ANY HELP OR MEASUREMENTS OR EVEN PICS GREATLY APPRECIATED..SEEMS LIKE I AM GONNA BE RIGHT IN THE SPOT WHERE THE LITTLE CROSSMEMBER BEHIND THE TRANS WOULD HAVE BEEN LOCATED THE WAY IT IS RIGHT NOW
It is different for each car. Bolt the torque arm to the rear attach the crossmember to the front of the arm, have the attaching brackets as straight up and down as possible. That is where you want to weld the bar in, just make sure that you have it square in the car. If you have any questions please give us a call. We are here till 6pm est mon-fri.

I Know I Got It In Square But The Brackets That Bolt The Arm And Crossmember Together Are Just A Little Offset Looks Like The Install Pic On The Website Either # 1 Or 2...guess I Was Just A Little Leary Of Cutting Up A $400 Piece Of Equipment..all Else Fails Weld It Back Together And Start Over If You Have To..joys Of Working With Metal..
