Front Rotors? I have gone through 3 sets of brake rotors-front
Stock OEM
EBC-Green Stuff-slotted/drilled
Sure Stop-slotted/drilled w/New Hawks Pads
and now Power Slot-slotted w/ Hawks Pads
What is the problem? 02 SS daily driver, rarely seen any track passes.

Re: Front Rotors? What has caused them to be replaced? Did they warp, crack, wear out? If it is wear, it is probably pad related. If it is cracking, it is usually excessive heat (and drilled/slotted rotors tend to be prone to that with aggressive pads). If they are warping, that is either excessive heat (causing a structural change in the rotor material), or they are being run hard and parked hot (which causes the pads to keep that part of the rotor hotter than the rest. The uneven cooling "may" lead to warpage) or the rotors are cast and not stress relieved properly (or at all). Cast iron has "internal stresses" and heat cycling it can cause it to relax and change shape (warp). Any other info you hvae may be helpful.
