Default nwebie question re: SFC

are SFC's mounted parallel to the chassis, or perpendicularly? im getting true duals soon and im just wondering if they will interfere with each other (i dont have sfc's, but plan on getting some in the near future). sorry for the stupid question, im an LS1 newbie, thanks!

parallel to frame

Most run parallel but some cross in the middle and join... see illustration (bold represents SFC)

The double diamond setup is overkill IMHO , some BMR or equivalent SFCs are fine

The BMR boxed SFC's are relatively hidden in terms of being in the way. They tuck away pretty well. Results with SFC's seem to vary. I plan on getting double diamond, why the hell not right? They are probably overkill like horist said.
