GI/FS- LS6 Shortblock
GI/FS- LS6 Shortblock I have an LS6 shortblock out of a 01' C5Z w/ 67K miles. The motor had low compression in 2 cylinders so it was pulled and I took it in on trade.
Upon inspection, 2 of the pistons look bad so they at a minimum will need to be replaced when the engine is rebuilt. I don't want to spend the money on rebuilding it so I may want to sell it.
Block looks good, cylinder walls still have the hash marks from the factory, crank and connecting rods appear to good....this is all based on visual inspection.
Not quite sure what it is worth but if I can get at least $300 out of it, I would be happy to get it out of my garage.
