1974 VW Bug Just got this monster about 1 month ago and only done some maintenance things to it. The previous owner said it was sitting for the last 2 years and they owned it for about 8 years...
The motor is going to have to be rebuilt, the motor was back firing when I bought it. I was thinking it was a stuck valve and it may be stuck but I do not have time to pull it apart. The car still runs and drive but just bangs and pops when taking off. When it warms up it does not do it too bad, I've driven it to work a few times and it is 20 miles one way. It keeps up with traffic just fine and will cruise down the freeway at 70-80mph.
The car is from Arizona so the body and floor pans and in great shape...
It is tagged and Inspected and I do have the title in my name. The stereo system does not go with the car.
I paid 2k for the car and put another $250.00 in it, all I want is my money back... $2,250.00 firm 281-536-7467

We had a dune buggy with a 7X's 1600 dual port, and it popped and backfired every time until it warmed up, especially if it sat for too long. But it never quit running. Really dependable. My dad just sold it unfortunately.
It was basically a 60's frame full length, with a fiberglass body dropped down on it. Great little car

We had a dune buggy with a 7X's 1600 dual port, and it popped and backfired every time until it warmed up, especially if it sat for too long. But it never quit running. Really dependable. My dad just sold it unfortunately.
