It's a 2 stroke motor, they are more durable than nitro, tanks of gas last longer ad is much cheaper than nitro fuel. This is basically a weed eater motor, has a pull start. Depending on how you set the gear ratio up will determine how fast they will go. Some drag race them, some play in the sand, and some use them for grass or dirt tracks like we have done.
If your familiar with the Nitro Tmax traxxas it's about 2 or 3 times the size of those. There are many upgraded parts you can buy including stroker motors. You can get a stroker motor long block for 275.00 just to give you an idea. This truck is ready to run today. This truck without the upgraded parts would run you a little over 1300 new. Again all you have to do is fill it up wih gas and go play. We live in Sugar land and there's a track near by that if you ever wanted to come check them out just let me know. They all run on Sundays. There's about 15 to 20 cars out where we race. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call. 281-546-8485
