I had to re do my tips when I added the hitch. Its a class II, welded in. I added the chrome cover. Its VERY strong and i can use it as a jacking point with all the steel that was added between the frame.

thanks for the post mine has no cover. yes it was easy to remove and reinstall will do so this week! and all i did was leave the studs in and reattach the nuts.
