1980 Corvette This is a fair weather car, it can be used for daily driving as I have been doing for the past 2 weeks. The title in my name, the taggs and inspection is good for another year.
Mechanically this car needs nothing to be daily driven. It does have several issues that needs to be addressed but nothing that effects the drive-ability. It is a factory A/C car but the A/C does not work, everything is there and it may be something simple or could need a compressor.
The car was originally a cream color and was repainted blue, the paint is not perfect. there is a few spots where the paint is bubbling and the paint on the hood was not prepared right and cracked. 10' away the car looks great...
Here is a list of the issues and I will be working on it so some of these items may be fixed by the time you come to look/buy.
-Small oil leak at the gasket for the fuel pump
-The motor for the Air does not shut off, I bought a new switch and it did not fix it. The blower is unplugged, it could be a relay...
-The headlights do not come up on their own, you have to help them up. This could be a vacuum leak.
-The car does have a small miss at Idle, I have a new carburator for it. I put it on and now it will not idle at all so I just put the old one back on. This miss is at idle only, while driving it runs great. I have already replaced the plugs and have ordered new wires.
This is a great car to drive while you fix the few minor issues. Looking to get $6,500.00 FIRM.
