The Torquer V3 camshaft features a more aggressive intake lobe that requires a good double valve spring kit. For customers looking for a quality double valve spring kit, we recommend the PRC .650" & .675" double spring kits. Both spring packages will easily handle this camshaft. The new more aggressive intake lobes & small changes to the camshaft design has allowed us to create more peak power while bringing power in earlier than the Torquer V2. With the Torquer V3 camshaft we typically recommend the customer have atleast a 3000 rpm stall converter for automatic cars. Tuning will also be required in both automatic & manual applications. Texas Speed offers complete mail order tuning services to get your vehicles pcm custom tuned for your modifications.
I ran the PRC .675 springs with a Ti retainer and stock rockers w/ a trunnion upgrade with zero problems. Iirc, 7.425 push rods also but you will have to check your personal setup. With typical bolt-ons and a competent tuner you could expect 430/400 numbers (through a 6 speed).

Well....I would consider a package deal....Yes, my package was the PRC .675's and 7.420 pushrods.
Its all just sitting here on the tool box. I was thinking about using the PRC .675's with the new cam but.....they are almost to small for it. And the pushrods will work as long as your heads have not been milled or your head gasket is stock (.051) thickness.

Verdad Gallardo I mis spoke....the heads still have the springs and retainers on them and they are at TEA. So, what I have here is the cam and pushrods. Heads will be back near they end of September.
