What kind of torture will that T56 take? Co-worker is starting a FI 6.0 build for a truck he has sitting in storage. Shooting for low 10s.

If Jason won't do any removal or installs I will be more than welcomed to do it for you guys. You would just have to come to me for it.
Well best of luck man, and you will be hearing from me in a few months.

Our t56 stage 2 builds will hold 750hp. We have had them in cars pushing a lot more but a dig run will most likely shear the gears. Turbo cars are the worst on these transmissions. We have had gears cryo treated and micro polished and it really didn't make a difference. Same car with these upgrades still sheared the gears right off. We can also convert any tr6060 to fit an f-body if anyone is interested. The only thing I don't like about the tr6060 is the small engagement teeth. Just about everyone that I have gone through has them rounded off. These are low mile cars too, some under 20k miles.

Hmmm... I'll get more details from him but I think he needs something stronger for reliable 10s street truck. Heavy *** truck plus dig runs needs something stupid strong. Have you done any of those T56/TR6060/SSR frankenstein builds?

I've done t56's with ssr main shafts. But, the gears are still the weak point. We can do a tr6060 with a magnum mainshaft and ssr tailhousing. I agree that at those power levels you will need more than a stage 2. If 10's are in your sight then I would go with a 4L80e.

Just putting this out there for anyone reading, I have never met Fabien but I'm a tech at Jake's Performance (Similar work, but with autos) and I have only heard great things about this guy. People have come into our shop and talked about how good the work he does is and how he's apparently really fast as well, so for anyone who may be on the fence for whatever reason, get off of it. I've also heard things about him and his work at car meets as well. That should say something about the guy's quality of work

Adding to it, he installed my headers in about two hours. Car never got a chance to cool off. Made it look too easy!!!
