WTB - 3rd gen or GN I have a 68 c10 with a 5.3 swap that I'm restoring and still need a good ways to get running. I want a nice driver car to enjoy on my days off in the mean time. Looking for a clean 3rd gen T/a or Camaro z28. I'd love a GTA but it seems that the term clean and GTA area rarely used in the same sentence now a days.
If anyone has a 3rd gen with a running LS swap, that would be awesome.
Looking for something between 4k-8k.
I've been searching and searching and can't seem to find anything, and the few ones I've found on CL, either have bad contact info or haven't returned my emails.
This one looks nice but hasn't returned any of my emails.

There was a guy in my neighborhood that had a 85 Recaro edition Trans Am. Super Super clean. If I had any space I would have bought it. One owner, rebuilt 305 TPI w / mild cam, rebuilt 700R4, recovered front seats, newer base/clear paint and decals. No rust at all- AC and heat worked.
Black with gold trim and bird, factory 15 gold wheels (16's were an option on Recaro Edition cars). Beige interior and standard dash (not digital).
Guy was asking 6k but was very concerned about how the second owner was going to treat it. Wasn't advertising it for sale, just stopped by my house one day. I can see if it is still available.
Located in Spring/ Woodlands

Yea, you're the 4th or 5th guy to show me that one. Its a nice car for the price but that owner of that car thought it would be funny to paint those stripes on the side under the clear coat.

So glad you might get the car- the guy was really cool to deal with.
Seats were done by Louetta Upholstery - one of the best on the north side but damn expensive. My only problem with the interior is that he didn't have the rear seats done to match.
As far as condition I don't think you can get another that clean for what he was asking.
Like I said- if I can do anything to help let me know.
