5.3 Pullouts in DFW area

I have called around to a few places with listing on car-part, but was curious if anyone had any first hand experience with yards in the area.

I know these motors are a dime a dozen, but maybe im wrong judging by the quotes I have been given so far. They seem to think they are going out of their way if im going to need all accessories, harness, ecu, and tranny.

Yeah I called a place in Austin and the guy was acting like it was trouble to get me complete pullout. He finally came back on the line and he has a complete pullout from an '05 Tahoe with engine/tranny/harness/ECM/accessories with 40K on it for $2K

You can expect to pay $1100+ for a complete pullout.Those motors are very popular right now.

Sam any chance you could point me in the direction of the yard who has them for closer to 1100.

The best I have been able to do so far is 1600 for an 03 with "less than 50K"
