Way too much to read but who cares that was 98 this is 2008 - Time to forget the past and T.O. is better.

I think the Roy Williams pick up is going to set the tone for alot of high scoring games. If Brad Johnson can pick apart the defense and get the ball down the field when needed they will have no problem. The 2 biggest most physical receivers + greatest tight end = SUPERBOWL!!!

We got a 7th round pick and RW. We lost 3 draft pics, 1st, 3rd and, 6th.

Yeah, my mistake on the seventh round pick, but that is still a lot to give up to get Roy. The Cowboys badly needed another receiver and would have probably taken one very high in next year's draft, so this takes care of that issue. Hopefully they'll go defense with the first two picks.

As for RW, its good to see a Texas boy get back to Texas... even if it is for the Cowboys.

bad trade, gave up to much for a guy that hasn't done much and has been beating down from losing in Detroit.

RW is going to change the offense for the good. I mean come on the ONLY player to do ANYTHING in detroit for almost 20 years has been that running back. Crap whats his name??? Ohhh RIIIIIGHT Barry Sanders. They dont call the Lions the team players go to to die for no reason.

RW had NOTHING to help in Detroit. Youve got to have a good QB to make a good receiver and well name one good Lions QB. The Cowboys have a ton of weapons to make RW be able to get open and free of the double and tripple coverage he got up north.

I do think that Jerry gave up one too many draft picks. Give them a 1st and a 4th rather then a 1st, 3rd and 6th. At least they got one back. I can see him trading some other players to get more picks back though.

Knowing the Lions they will probably draft another WR in the first round. Crabtree anyone?

I think being back in Texas and playing for a potential Super bowl team will improve his attitude and make him work harder.

I enjoy watching the Cowboys and see them as a talented offensive team, but after a few games where Williams outshines Owens in TD's or total yards, or starts getting the press over Owens in the local news, it's gonna get nasty on the sidelines. Owens cannot help himself .... his ego will get the best of him.

^ that wouldnt surprise anyone, sadly. everyone needs to remember that romo is out for a month, not the entire season. i think that the cowboys have a much better shot at winning this superbowl and the next one than they would have with out roy williams.

[QUOTE=DSIM;10292531]When Philly made it to the Super Bowl T.O got injured in week 10 and didnt return until the Super Bowl.... so he didnt really get them back to the Super Bowl. They got thru the playoffs WITHOUT T.O and then LOST the big game WITH him.

T.O. played his heart out for the beagles and Mcnabb was the one who lost that game not T.O. philly was beasty with T.O. like i said, look at all the teams that T.O. has been on that has made them explosive. so for people to say hes a cancer is pretty f*ckin stupid!! even 2 years ago when he has the most drops.. he still led all WR with the most touchdowns...
