Personalized Plate ?'s

Whats the best way about going about this? How much?
And can you have 7 characters instead of six?

I know the 7 digit plates are out there, but I guess not for personalized yet. I ordered my last ones online, very easy and they got here quick. They have also started adding the extra fee in with the registration so its easier to renew. Just one big payment.
