you folks need to find another argument against Obama...... why not pick the easy ones?:

1. He wants to remove/reduce our nuclear arsenal, leaving us vulnerable
2. He wants to increase taxes which is the opposite of a healthy economy (fact... look at the Carter term vs the Regan era)
3. He believe the UN and EU have policy that we can adopt.
4. His mentors and teachers are that of folks that are considered or known to have unAmerican views: William Ayers and Rev. Wright. Afro-Centric studies and a victim mentality is not what we need in the Whitehouse.
5. He acts as though he cares about uninsured Americans yet when it comes to policy he has helped Hospitals in Chicago who are nonprofit not only increase profits 10fold but also increase CEO pay to percentages that make communication companies like Verizon and AT&T look bad. His wife is also on the board of directors (for no apparent reason) of one of the hospitals with a 100k annual salary. She and her collegues have permitted to continue a policy that charges uninsured patient significantly higher than insured, thereby attempting to make the government pay more or put folks in bankruptcy for healthcare. This is unethical and counter active to his claims of reform.

I can keep going.... but ya'll get the point.

Just trust it when I say that a Democratic controlled senate, house, and whitehouse will bury America deeper in recession, higher in debt, and we will loose the intent of the writers of our constitution....... Second Amendment anyone??????

I dont think this just happens in Chicago. My brother was in the hospital for an extended period of time back in Feb. The bill? Well over $20k. You know what the insurance was charged? $5k. That was their "discounted" rate. My dad went in for an annual checkup a few months ago, bill for non-insured? $2500. Bill for insured? $750. The whole system is fucked and needs re-doing.

I work for a company that processes Medicare B claims and the costs for medications that keep patients alive are OUTRAGEOUS. We are talking about medications that patients need to stay alive because of a transplant costing well over $1500 for a massive 15 day supply. Somehow they dont care because they know that the gubbament will pick up that 80%.

Sorry for the hijack.

Quote from Wall Street Journal :
Sen. Obama favors tax cuts for middle-class workers and tax increases for top earners. (Means unless your in the top 5% of wage earners the increase wont effect you)

McCains Health Plan : Under this plan, premium payments for families would increase by about $379 and direct payments for health services by about $105. "This would be more than offset by a net increase in tax subsidies of $1,570" and wage gains resulting from employer savings, the Lewin Group says. (WizeAss look up the word Tax Subsidy - it is money that in the end will result in being payed back by the consumer. Subsidies is whats wrong with Healthcare )

An article about the differences in there plans once elected and nothing else....
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1224...Tabs%3Darticle

This is an article comparing the two candidates plan... If you want a trustworthy source why wouldn't you pick the Wall Street Journal.

Last post about politics - I read this stuff all day long - Just look who is funding the campaigns - One is being payed for by the top 10% and the other by middle class citizens and military veterans....

Define Middle Class.... we all know that our taxes for folks making 50k+ will not decrease like Obama's plan. Obama is also wanting to give folks that don't pay taxes a so called credit that is simply redistribution of wealth. I am not looking to get money in my pocket. I am looking to keep my tax burden from increasing. We all know we are having debt issues racked up by the war in Iraq and policies from Bush and the democrats in Congress not getting things done. We dont have a secured border yet are focusing on the war... both should be a priority as that is the role of Government and not interfering with the private sector aside from regulation of ethics and accountability.

The argument of taxes by Obama comes down to what to do in a tough economy.... Obama thinks that giving more money to the government is a good thing. The government needs to be reduced not increased. It needs less money to waste since it is not held accountable.

if you have a brain and are not brainwashed by words of HOPE & CHANGE, then you will realize that he is not electable. Once you earn a living out of college and gain the knowledge of realizing that Welfare is not help but support and earn a living... you no longer remain a college liberal and become a working conservative.

Asking to take money from someone who actually worked hard, had a great idea, and went to school to get a good job or put the time in is UN-AMERICAN! That is socialist and will kill our country and what makes us #1 in the world. You want money when our economy is in the *****...... yeah..... gotta love Liberals.

While I agree the motif was latent, you should have understood the main point of the post--or was your partisan hat still on? That you were unable to do so is your problem.

I am trying to find my source, but his economic plan calls for something like an additional 3 trillion dollars over the next 10 years. Where is all that money going to come from?

EDIT- Found it.... Wall Street Journal.. your source of choice, and its actually 4.3 Trillion..http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122480790550265061.html

Here is an article that explains Obama's tax "cuts." http://www.nypost.com/seven/10132008...ic__133374.htm

Actually, we don't really know where half a Obama's money is coming from.

"Unlike the McCain campaign, which has made its complete donor database available online, the Obama campaign has not identified donors for nearly half the amount he has raised, according to the Center for Responsive Politics (CRP)."

"The FEC has compiled a separate database of potentially questionable overseas donations that contains more than 11,500 contributions totaling $33.8 million. More than 520 listed their “state” as “IR,” often an abbreviation of Iran. Another 63 listed it as “UK,” the United Kingdom."

The quotes were not taken from the WSJ, but the WSJ does have an article about the GOP wanting an audit of Obama's funds.

Just saying, for a canidate that talks about transparency this is just one of the many issues that he seems to be clear as mud on.

Let's see Obama put his voter list on Google and allow us to cut it open with a scapel... what you will find is millions on millions from non U.S. citizens and the likes of Iraq, Iran, the Muslim nation (who love Obama just because of his middle name and Muslim background) and the socialists in Europe. And you think he is for Change? The only change is Chicago style politics that say if you can't beat your opponents you bury them (ring a bell folks?) and use the "i have a dream" or "prophet" type speeches to win crowds. We all know that 12% of the population (it is actually 12.5% but .5% are actually smart enough to not get fooled) are going to vote because of his race.

Yeah... forgot that Kerry was the one who lost by over 3 million.... Gore and Bush where neck and neck.

Just goes to show you that Obama is a shoe in to win. He is fairing much better than both Gore and Kerry did against Bush..

we are all doomed. America has started leaning towards the left. Got to love the media and the welfare state we have created.

All you can do is vote for who you think is the better candidate, if your guy loses you get another shot in 4 years.

I know many that WILL vote for OBAMA who are enlisted. You are aware that the military will take pretty much anyone these days...I mean we have out limits, but you can get waivers for all types of ****. Trust me on this. There are numerous guys I work along side of on a daily basis while deployed and pray to god they don't get me killed

You can't fix stupid, but only say I told you so in the end

Great thing about this country is that you do have a choice. Whether or not it's wrong or right. Just go back and read my last statement at the end of the post.
