WarCraft3 was my favorite. Storyline was top notch!

 

I loved playing warcraft, but never got into this one bc everyone said how addicting it was. I knew a guy that got his gf into it and now they play together all the time.

 

FPS > RPG

Dont see how u nerds can play that game wOw.. All it is is a bunch of ******* trolls running around with bow and arrows making magic potion and taking over clans/guilds.

He's correct... To actually be good at it, takes a lot of skill. Unless you sat down at the game and tried to PVP you wouldn't understand. There are a lot of people that play who know nothing about how to actually play and be good at it.

I've been playing CS since literly the first beta... I quit playing hardcore about 4 years ago. I still play 1.6 from time to time... I can't stand Source at all.

I made fun of people that played Everquest, WoW, etc... for a very long time. Then one day I got this free 14 day trial in Maxim back in December of 05 so I figured I'd just see what the hype was because I had 2 friends from work playing it. About 4 days later I bought the game.. Been playing it ever since... I am not as bad as my brother (NVR4GET) makes it sound (anymore that is), but when I'm bored I don't watch TV.. I get on and destroy terribles. I use to play VERY hardcore Pre-BC, as I raided 5 days a week (MC, BWL, AQ40, Naxx), got HWL, etc.. I've since then become really relaxed and I quit raiding hardcore. I've been to SSC/TK/Hyjal/BT but not hardcore, they would just bring me along. I really only play to play against other people now. I think that's probably the most fun thing to do in the game. With Wrath and the introduction to siege weapons, more world pvp, etc. it should be really fun.

 

Not sure how hardcore FPS gamers can call anyone "nerds" without being disingenuous...

 

Haha, loser! You should spend your money on a 360 and Gears of War 2, not WoW...

 

I played since a little after original release. I quit a few months ago, I hated TBC and only enjoyed pre BC. I was chosen for WoTLK beta and didnt even bother, i dont plan on buying it.

i don't do well with FPS on 360. i've tried GoW, halo, etc.. Mouse/keyboard>>>controller. prior to WoW, Planetside was the ****. FPS on massive scale.

 

I raid mon-wed when not at work. Rarely play other than that. Work 100+ hours a week, have a wife and 2 kids. Spend my weekends working on the car or hanging out. I dont watch much tv, except for football, wow is basically the substitute for that. You can play WoW and still have a life.

Ive never played any MMO before WoW, and I blame my dad and brother for getting me into it.

 

How can you hang out on the weekends when you work 100+ hours a week?

I've worked 100 hour weeks before and other than working, I barely had time to ****, shower and shave...let alone do anything else. You must have awesome stamina.

 

well i work 32 and 48 hr shifts so i get to sleep while at work and my work week usually include 1 weekend day (fri / sat / or sun) so I dont get to go out every weekend.

COD is pretty easy to pick up and be decent at. If you come from and like counterstrike and RB6 on pc you will like cod

i got hooked on fucken Halo 2 on XBL back in 05-06, i played that **** for about 8 hours daily, i fucken gained like 40 pounds and lost time on my *** getting career, i agree there should be a gamer rehab lol, I havent even tried WOW i know my *** would get hooked
