Shame on Baylor for getting my hopes up. That would have been great for UT, but now we're back to watching the OU/OSU game and hoping for...something. I'm not even sure what anymore.

how can you say this... baylor used to be up there with them all.

with griffin at the helm and more experience, he will be a force to mess with.

let alone baylor will have aTm's number for the next years

baylor USED to be is the keyword there

they'll be a force to mess with as much as griffin can control

hell they might even get some recruits for a few years, but it takes alot to change the whole program

and did I say atm was better no, thanks for throwing an insult in for no reason though (cough "that guy")

YOU were the one stressing they will NEVER be a top tier team.

I pointed out that they were, and also beat what was a considered a top tier team.

It is cool, I think all ags are just easy irritable this year.

Damn, I wish Baylor could have held onto the lead. However, the pressure is squarely on on OU. They HAVE to win this and even if they do win they've got to hope they can pass pass Texas in the BCS.

bc i certainly put NEVER in caps

I just don't see after this 4 year griffin run baylor taking off and becoming what they once were, agree or disagree, but don't try and tell me the world is gonna throw baylor a 85k capacity stadium, or a decent set of facilities

but I am worried about this 4 year run, for us ags sake, we'll see...."next season...our favorite season"

When was the last time TTU was a top team before this year? Anybody know bc I sure as hell can't remember TTU ever being involved in a meaningful game, but I could be wrong.

Tech will be back to being a 7-4 type of team next year after they lose Harrell, Crabtree and a few other key players. This was their best team in the history of their program.

Griffin is a killer player! It was fun watching him, even when he was coring on my team! The fun part is the aggies likely won't beat Baylor for another 2-3 years!

Why do you have to pollute a BU/TTU congratulatory thread with this trash talk??

I mean, what's good for the goose right?

I was commenting that if Baylor would have held on and beat Tech that OU would have been out of going to the Big12 CCG because it would have created a two-way tie between Texas and OU and Texas would have advanced based on them owning the tie breaker by beating OU on the field when they played and you have a problem with that? That's the truth.

Trash talk? You do nothing BUT trash talk in all of your posts.

I guess I just figured you'd follow your own advice re: Muschamp thread and not muck up a TTU/BU praise thread.

Um, wrong. Since when was this a congratulatory BU/TTU thread? This was about the game and it's outcome and it's potential affect on the Big 12 South order. Who are you to lecture me about what I do as a mod? Last I checked you are guest on here and should act accordingly.

If you're such a big OU fan why don't you post in the Midwest section and yuck it up with other Okies of your kind in there? This is the Texas section last I looked and most folks in here couldn't care less about Oklahoma.

1. I'm not an Okie. I was born in Texas and have lived in Texas most of my life and currently live in Texas. I consider myself a Texan.

2. I wasn't lecturing about what you do as a mod. I was commenting on what you did as a poster.

3. We're all guests here under the discretion of Tony. I remember back when he told me about this site 6-7 years ago when I lived in Houston, I think it's been his property since day one.

4. For not caring about Oklahoma, you sure do post a lot about Oklahoma.

5. Lighten up. In my humble guest opinion, if you're going to have an avatar that reads ""OU Sucks!", then you really shouldn't be a nancy when it comes to some smack flying your way. Again, just my humble guest opinion...

This is a T E X A S forum and all you do is run your mouth about Oklahoma. I don't care if you like Oklahoma or whoever, but why do you insist on posting your negative drivel about Texas in a Texas forum? Why not post in a section of the board that's set up specifically for geographic areas if you're going to talk smack and disparage UT? I damn sure don't go in the Midwest section and talk trash about OU and never would.

BTW, I was appointed as a mod in the Texas section by Tony years ago and that is my responsibility to keep things in order here and I will do just that. Again, you are a guest in here and should act accordingly. Period. Not too smart on your part to be a smart *** to me or any other mod in any forum on here. It might serve you well to be concerned about your own conduct on here rather than what I do.

End of discussion!
