I hear you, but you gotta understand that the Zune is still farely new compared to the Ipod. Give some time and there will be more items available to integrate the Zune with. As it is right now, I just have the basic Zune that came out last december and I can download music for FREE, download pictures to it, it has podcast, download videos to it too, it has a FM radio station, and you can link it up to other Zunes around you. For instance, if your at the Gym and want to listen to music that other Zune people around you have, you ask for their permission and you are able to get there music in your Zune for like the next three hours. No downloading, your just able to skim through their music files. Now thats BADASS!!! I even downloaded **** to mine just to see if it would work. Sure enough it did, then I had to get rid of it just incase the other half got a hold of it. Zune is still fresh and ipod is going to have to step it up to compete against a microsoft company...

Actually, the 1st Gen Zunes came out over 2 years ago and the accessory market is even still quite small. There are some, but nothing compared to the fruit company's products.

As long as more people keep buying the fruit company's products, the aftermarket for Zune will stay quite limited. Zune, and other brands, would need "that little extra something"-boost among the John Doe's who just think Ipod is the thing because of the hype they have created.

SanDisk is trying the same with their Sansa products, but so far with limited results.

BTW: If somebody is interested in a 1st Gen 30GB Zune, I'm thinking about selling it. Comes with all original accessories and a travel kit.
