Go through Scoggin-Dickey. They're a sponsor, and I've had MUCH better luck with them not screwing up my order.

All I can say is compare shipped prices, not catalog prices. GMPartsDirect is proud of their packaging apparently. They are competitive though.

Of the few things I've ordered from GM Parts Direct, all of them took well over a week to get to me. 2 weeks was about average.

Scoggin Dickey is usually 2 days or less, as long as it's in stock (and I can't remember it not being in stock). I'd go with S-D, even if it costs a little more.

Exactly! Shipping and handling usually kills the deal @ GMPD.

My experience is they take longer but cost considerably less even when you factor in shipping costs. No sales tax with GMPD which is another 8% savings.

I ordered some caddy lifters through GM parts direct and they were shipped the same day. I have had great luck with them.

GMPD is hit or miss, some times they have decent shipping rates. I ordered some GMPP guide plates from them, came to me in a degree deodorant box. So I imagine if you order a small cam, it comes in Tampon box.

I ordered my KS and harness and they sent me a freakin truck exhaust tip... I hate the fact they only communicate through email and you have to wait on them.. Although a week and a half later they get my order resent and it was all taken care of.

Hopefully they don't mess us ur order..

That was funny. How is the system sounding?...I have been looking to start customizing a system, just need to get over some humps here(oil pan)

That is how I felt. Cant call and speak to a person, that gets frustrating.

It's all done, sounds good, suprised how hard a single 10 hits. With that said, I was tempted for a while to add another Kickver CVR10 isub in the spare tire comparment.

I've used them many times. It's hard to beat their prices even after the high shipping rates. Plus not having to pay tax helps.

They did mess up my most recent order but took care of it... no problem. Shipping does take awhile sometimes but to me it's worth the wait for what you save... but my car is also still in the project stage so I'm never in any real hurry for parts.

I've been happy with them so I'll continue to use them for any GM parts.
