How about a pump gas LS?

They installed our new HKE pump gas stroker engine and tuned it yesterday. We were racing it that same evening. They delivered when they said they would and their communication through out the process sets the standard for how the all businesses should handle customers.

This is through a PG, 93 octane pump gas, 12 bolt, drag slicks and through the mufflers.

Crapy, if you have a problem with Mike's tune then I would suggest to take it back to him. I'm sure he will not leave you hanging. Icon is a vendor here as well as LMR and bashing is not allowed on this site. Give him a chance to make it right. I'm sure he will.

No i have taken my car there about 10 times for re tuning and my car just drives worse each time. I have no problem with Mike or any of the guys there all really nice and helpful guys. Im just not sure if it is my car that's difficult to tune or if there just not as experienced with tuning yet.

But i would recommend them to anyone.

Wow guys, thanks for all the nice compliments. Josh and myself truly do treat every car like our own. We know how much you all take pride in your rides and there is no difference when you drop it off at LMR. Those of you that have met us can tell we have racing in our blood and really will try and get the most out of your vehicle to try and meet the goals you were looking for. Thanks again!

Matt, Im not sure why you decided to get on here and try to bash the reputation of Icon Autosports after the last meeting we had with you and your Mom explaining the problems your vehicle had and how we addressed them to your satisfaction. The last time you came and picked the car up you test drove it and said it was ok to you and your Moms standards. I asked your Mom to call me if you have any other issues with it. For the record, your car has been here 4 times for various reasons including the cam install, tuning adjustments, and fuse/wiring repair from the previous shop/owner. Not 10 times. We have tuned hundreds of these vehicles and trust us if we knew a car we performed our services on would "barely drive" or "run worse each time" we would not let it leave until those issues were addressed. We are not known to have that type of reputation as many members that have been on this forum since 2001 can attest to. Your Mom explained to me that this is your first vehicle that she bought for you and it was already modified by the previous owner but it was unclear that what exactly had been done to the vehicle. I tried to explain to you the best we could by looking over the vehicle and letting your Mom know what we saw. I had tried to explain to you and then your Mom the characteristics and driving nature of an aftermarket cammed and stalled automatic LS1. We would still get the response from your Mom that the car runs "rough" or "shakes at idle". I honestly believe that you or more so your Mom will not be satisfied until the factory camshaft is put back in and we would gladly do that if you decide.

We will still honor any issues you have with our services. All you have to do is have your Mom bring the car by and show us that it barely drives or any other problem that has to do with what she paid for. It is a given that if you decide to let another sponsor on here try to address the issues that you are claiming to have with the tune we did to your car they are going to say that whoever tuned the car didnt know what they were doing and everything was wrong to boost their sales. Its the nature of the business and happens everyday. Just for an example one of our new customers told us the shop they recently took their car to for a computer tune did that exact thing not even knowing that they originally tuned the car and they were now dealing with the new owner of it.

I appreciate that you stated above that you would reccomend us to anyone and we are here if you need us!

LMR Gets my vote for trying to take car of customers cars as there own, and they have one of the BEST tuners tunning for them Joe Hunnicut IMO. I have had a few experiences with other venders and was not so pleased with the out come when problems came up with work they performed and trying to make thing right etc... GL with your decision.

LMR is a great group of guys. They have done alot of work for me over the past year, and they have done a great job.

I also have had LMR look over, and redo some work on multiple cars that were performed by various other shops. They handled this in a very professional manner as well. They have always been very careful to not "Bash" the work done by the other tuners, which made me feel even better about my decision to work with them too.

Jeff,
This thread is not a shop vs. shop, the Tech member ask other members what they have experienced with LMR. Now there seems to be some miscommunication between the tech member and the previous shop. But I think Icon was able to handle it in a professional manner to reach out to the customer. End of story, its up to the Tech member who he fells fit to address his issues.

Josh and Steven have been instrumental in the building of my LS-2 powered Colorado. Josh did all of the fabrication while he was still working at another shop. I have been extremely pleased with all aspects of their work. Since this is a very peculiar build, it has had its challenges. I still have some issues, but, none that I would attribute to Josh or Steven. As far as I am concerned, there is no one more personable, or pleasurable to deal with. They do what they say they will... when they say they will.... for the price they say they will. What more could you ask for????
