Would ghost flames be untasteful even for a corvette? Very subtle no?

I was thinking the same thing. Silver/charcoal ghost flames, not many, coming out of the side cove. Something you would have to know was there to see it.

Or you could always go plaid

well i understand what you say...i do
but im confident in my skill. I got a lot of flack about the idea of True flames on the TA...came out INCREDIBLE, got the attention, AND (in my case) made the selling value RiSE by 5 grand. The graphix wont be as "IN YOUR FACE" as the TA.
Yes i agree its not for everyone...but i feel compelled to push the limits. Not everyone is going to like it...and thats fine by me. Its the best way to showcase my art and get me more work...
i promise you...if i had a LAMBO...id put true flames on that bitch. Its how i roll haha

Thanx everyone for the comments.

Yes that is very true. on the contrary, i never once claimed that i painted my car. I get that a lot. Iv even told Maxx that i always give credit where it is due. Iv actually asked him if i could possibly work for him...but got no response.
i am however very capable.

LOL. Just because you are good at true flames, that doesn't mean you always have to do them. True flame stuff is old news, the fad is over. If you would have attended SEMA in Las Vegas, you would get a good indicator on new and old fads. About 2 yrs ago, true flames were in. Last year, "murdered out" was in. This year, it seems the style has been more subtle and modern. Matte accents, brushed metal, thin pinstripes, etc...

I think ghost flames would add a nice touch. The car looks plain. I liked G Z06's silver c5 that had ghost flames on it. They were very faint but added to the car. This car would look good, I think, with a black pearl metallic ghost flame on the nose. If you like something do it. Be an innovater not a follower. For once I dont agree with Tony do something different. Vettes are a little more classy than an f body, but they arent a high end car like an M5 or M6 Bmw, or a Benz. They are still american made under engineered iron. Flame it and stick out from the crowd. Congrats, Josh

Ghost flames would look better than real flames. As for SEMA and fads, here is my photo gallery. Might give you some ideas. Also note the white wheels present
