I knew the MAF and O2's were on the same Circuit, I never worked with a stock M6 Wiring Harness to see how it was.

i put a 20 amp in it earlier and it blew right away so i bumped the amp up from 20 to 25 today and it hasn't blown yet and the service engine light went off right away. I really don't want to go around replacing things not bad so if i took it in to the dealership for a diagnostic will it show up with anything if the service engine light is not on, basically would i just be wasting my money and time doing that?

pssh if a 3 dollar fuse fixes it then be happy! lol. keep a few in the glove box or maybe try a 30fuse. but no bigger.

I got all the codes from autozone when the fuse blew and the light came on, but it said the MAF, all the O2 sensors were malfuctioning etc. Thats why I figured if the fuse caused those codes even though there really isnt anything wrong with them. Bigger fuse no problem today anyway, the 20 blows right away. Basically thats why i was wondering about a diagnostic from the dealership if it would be anymore in depth, and if the service engine light had to be on or if it is say just a short somewhere could it be found by getting one?

For instance it said both Oxygen sensors had a malfuction, the mass air flow input is lower then expected (that wouldnt trigger the service light though right)?, skip shift solenoid has a malfuction (although i eliminated that). Those were basically it. So should i start with the Oxygen sensors, car is an '01 with 56k miles on it, and go from there?

Just get under there and check the Wiring..you may have one melted to the Exhaust, may not necessarily be the Reverse Lockout.

I wouldn't start shotgunning parts based on a AZ scan...ck the wiring/connectors first, like the others are saying.

get under neath the car like everyone is telling you and inspect for melted wires. obviously the wire is grounding out somewhere, a bigger fuse is band-aiding the problem.

Yup, I bet you have an exposed (worn or melted) wire somewhere that is grounding out and blowing the fuse. Mine would do this after about 5 minutes of driving. One of the O2 wires was close to the header and was popping the fuse when it got hot. I tied the wire up out of the way and it has been fine ever since. It's amazing how many things are on one circuit.

So after I looked under it and got a friend to as well didn't see anything obvious, far as a melted / exposed wire. Connections looked good as well. Should i take it in for a diagnostic, and if so which dealership around fort worth if thats the case?

Did you look at the reverse lock out? Looks just like the skip shift and they are known to go bad or burn on the trans
