iridium ngk plugs
No need for all that fancy iridium or plutonium or einsteinium tips....
my friend's 2005 grand am came from the factory iridium plugs. came time to do a tune up and we put regular NGK TR55's in it... didnt loose a single mpg. coinsidentially, the 3.4L V6 grand am takes the same plugs as the LS1.

Even NGK is a little gimicky with their "V" groove.
I've had the designer plug arguement many times. Some TBSS guys were buying into the E3 crap and wouldn't listen. Seriously? A plug with a steel electrode that shrouds the kernal?
There is no reason not to run copper which is a better conductor unless you are after plug longevity.
