I get the MPG you guys are saying, but only at 55 - 60 mph (I know I rarely drive below 60)... You think they give you these estimates of ~20mpg at 70+ mph?

In the summer I do get better MPG.. With it being winter up here, gas mileage goes to ****.

i got an 08 crewcab 5.3 373gears witha atune it gets about 20mph.buy thr\e way it's for sale...

my dad has one and my buddy has a new tundra, if you must have GM the silverado is nice but i would get a tundra. the tundra does suck more gas though

my dad has 2 tundra's both with the 5.7 and they are great on gas.

I have owned top of the line Silverados since 1975- the 454- faster 0-60mph than the Vett that year. I once drag raced & beat a 280Z while pulling a BBQ trailer in that one ---I got a '08 1500 Silverado 6.0 LTZ last year- bone stock-It rides (and has more ****)like a Cadillac and will pull a 8000lb boat&trl 70MPH, the trans temp never over 205 degrees.. I drive 75-85mph

on the hiway and average 15.7MPG over 50,000 miles. I show it no mercy. I keep them 7 to 10 years and have minimal issues. Our company has 35+ Ford & Chevy pickups and there are 13 Fords and 2 Chevys parked ( broken down/wrecked) at the back fence. My brother has a new Dodge and says it sucks-no power and worse gas mileage. I say GO CHEVY!
