Default Hate to do this... I need a friendly inspection.

I'm in the DFW area. My inspection went out 12/08 and I need to get this taken care of quick. I DO have a SES light on...

Come on guys... Y'all are killin me. There's probably 100 or so f-bodies in DFW that had friendly inspections. And probably a couple thousand cars in DFW that had friendly inspections. These things don't appear out of thin air. Someone knows a place...

If the SES light is on You can NOT get a sticker. If the SES light is not on (via a tune or MIL eliminators) then it will pass. There has been a large crackdown the past year on fake stickers. Its not worth going to jail to help you buddy anymore.

You'll be hard pressed to find some O2 sims for sale now. I think a lot of places stopped making them, and if someone has them, they're probably holding on to them. Good luck man, I'm in the same boat as you.

I have a question about the check engine light...

If you have sims put on and you don't have an EGR system, but plug just the valve back into the car, will the check engine light go away, or do the pre-cat o2s and EGR communicate with each other?

So you are telling me that eventhought I have no service engine light on, and no converters, with dump duals that I will pass. I have been pulling in every service station and I can not get a inspection. I need to know someone that is friendly because my inspection has been out of date since 10/08. Help me out here guys thanks

DAMN! Your huevos are larger than mine. At least they are if you drive it everyday...

The best advice I can give you is something I learned from another member on here. "Find a small shop and the less english they speak... the better."

well if the car is modded the right way. it can both be done legally and have great power gains. you just need to quit deleting the emissions stuff and invest more into your exhaust setups.

I was unaware that there was much more that I could do to my exhaust. Only other thing I can think of is cut outs...

Lol I went down to the local jiffy lube and got my sticker. SES light blaring, no cats or mufflers and a state trooper present to boot!

The trooper just sat there and asked me about my car and if I thought it could outrun his radio lol.
