Need help

My car is acting up. lately when i get on it all the lights on my dashboard turn on checkengine,airbag,checkgages ect. It also cuts off voltage to the car my speedometer goes to 0 and the lights go dim like its about to lose power and when i let off it goes back to normal. Car doesnt stop it doesnt bog or anythiing it just electrical just the lights and speedometer act up it doesnt do it all the time only sometimes what can it be could it be a loose ground wire.

check you battery cables.....sounds like a bad ground

Agreed mine did the exact samething, fixed a stripped out battery terminal and hasnt done it sense.
